Pastor Daniel Cassels, his wife Hannah, son Jack and dogs Buddy and Sammi are new to the Santa Maria area. Daniel grew up in Washington State and Hannah in Globe, Arizona. Though this seems like worlds apart they met while Daniel was serving at Shadow Hills Baptist Church in Las Vegas Nevada. They were married January 06, 2006 and have served God as a family ever since. While attending the The College at Southwestern (a part of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) in Fort Worth, Texas they felt a call to go into full time ministry on the west coast. This call brought them to the wonderful church of Life Way Fellowship in Santa Maria California in 2009. They love to serve God by serving people, fellowshiping, and sharing the Good News of Christ.

Josh has been serving as the Worship Leader here at Life Way Fellowship for about five years now. Supported by his wife, Angie and two children, Dylan and Katelyn, music is not just a love of this family, it's a passion! Josh has a real desire for praise and worship, as well as seeing others come to that place of intimacy with God. If you can't find Josh and his family rockin' out here at Life Way, you may find them "4x4ing" out at the Pismo dunes, or rock crawling in their Bronco out at Rock Front or Figueroa Mountain. Along with their love for music, the Hess' love the outdoors, sharing in fellowship with others, serving where there is a need, and reaching out to those who long for the hope that Christ offers. |

Gloria is married to a Ricky Blackshear who is also one of our deacons. A wonderful lady who as served in the church for many years, Gloria is often the voice that you will hear on the other side of the phone or the smiling face that will great you when you visit our office. In addition to helping in the office Gloria serves in several other ministries including helping on the praise team every Sunday morning.
